faq

Some of the questions we are frequently asked include:

1. How much does it cost?

Most of the websites we build cost around £500 sterling to build. On top of that, usually you have to pay around £75 for 1 year's website and domain hosting.

This price includes a Content Management System.

2. How long does it take?

Usually takes two weeks to a month to schedule and complete the work, although this varies based on how busy we are.

3. What is a content management system (CMS)?

A content management system allows you to edit the content of your websites. Our content management system is a basic CMS that can be used by anyone who is familiar with Microsoft Word or a similar word processor. We also have experience working with fully featured CMS such as Drupal or Joomla.

4. What is website hosting?

In order to be accessible to the world wide web, the files that make up the website must be stored on a computer that is physically connected to the internet and running a special type of programme called a web server. While it is possible to run a webserver off your home computer, usually people host their websites with a web hosting company.

5. What is domain hosting?

Most websites have a domain name, usually something like 'website.co.uk' or 'website.com'. These names must be registered with an authority and pointed to your web hosting provider

6. What exactly is it that you can do?
